OCTOBERDAYS

These are not resembling Israeli October days, I made this wall hanging for my daughter Carmen while living in California, and I have fond memories of everything related to autumn there, the flaming maple trees, the pumpkins, the turkeys - those golden days...

Cotton and decorator fabrics, machine pieced, hand quilted (in the ditch), hand appliqued - 131cm x 112cm
Zoom in to see the lovely details!
If you are somewhere in the world, where it is fall right now, enjoy this wonderful season, where everything quiets down and goes to rest!

A seasonal picture book! And what a stash behind it. I love it. Could "read" it for hours.

Your wall hanging is absolutely amazing! I can't stop looking at all the details. I think this piece should be hanging in a museum!

Pesky's right, it belongs in a museum. It's like those photograph mosaics!

Such a quilt as this I have never seen before...it's abolutely stunning. You have the most superb collection of fabrics, Yael, and I loved exploring all the frames that make up the quilt. Very beautiful! xx

Dear Yael :) Thank you for visiting my gardening blog, so nice to see you! I have changed the blue colour in the front page of my blog (did not know it could be hard to read). I have tried different pale colours, hope they work better. Please let me know :)

Hope you have a nice day! I'm going into the kitchen to make jello :)

The details of this are stunning enough, Yael, but when you draw back and look at the whole--wow!!! Totally beautiful! Your daughter is a lucky one!
