GOLDA

You remember the tiny bundle?

Now she is already a big girl. The color of her eyes changed to green. She likes to be in the garden, watching the ants, chasing after butterflies, climbing the trees, rolling in the grass. She is an energy ball, always on the move. It is hard to photograph her, she seldom sits still - she either sleeps, or runs and jumps! My hands and legs are still scratched from her rough plays - but I am just crazy about her! She is so dominant that our big cats decided to tolerate her. Sometimes she sits in my lap and purrs - then I am in heaven - for one minute the most! Hop she catches my fingers, or hop something else caught her interest! She plays with the phone cord till the phone falls down. Nothing is save from her. She loves things with rubber bands on. Clack clack she will stretch them and release them. She walks over the keyboard and causes me typos. She steals the eraser from my desk. While I am hanging the laundry in the garden, she grabs a sock and runs away with it. She hides under the pillow and peeks out from there, waiting for me to tease her with something, then she will leap up and as quick as lightning hide again! She will drink water together with Dafi from Dafi's water dish, standing between Dafi's legs. Cute! Whatever moves gets her attention! She is so pretty! She is a little devil, sweet and strong and demanding! I wonder all the time who her parents were - deep south in the desert! Maybe her father was a desert tiger? Or her mom a wild cat? :-)

Awwwww I'm in love with Golda!!!! What a precious, wondeful creature!!!!! I LOVE cats, and I have a special thing for blackies :)! We had the sweetest, most wonderful black kitty, called Nerina, she left us a year ago (she was 18) and I still miss her terribly. She was there for almost half of my life, can you imagine? Now my mom has an adorable black kitty, Lilli, she's 2 years old now. These sweet creatures do give us so much joy and cheer us up with their games and lovely energy, it's like having the sun always shining in your house, isn't it?
Thank you for making me meet your precoious Golda, she's a gem!
Love from my Zoe and my mom's Lilli, Tommi and Theo (who's about as old as Golda and an energy ball too!)

I was just wondering if we'd get to see some new pictures of little Goldehleh, and VOILA! It's hard to imagine that she has grownso much. I'm thrilled to hear that she is keeping her rambunctious ways - she will always keep adventure on the menu!

Golda is a perfect little panther! How wonderful she looks now compared to the waif you brought home such a short time ago....thank you for sharing mmore of her life in your column, dear Yael. I can see why Golda thinks she's the boss of the older cats...she has a look of mischief in those big eyes....puuuurrrrr.

Golda is just so sweet!! Her fur is shiny and beautiful, and she looks happy and healthy. So nice to hear more about her, and I love the photos, Yael :)

Hope you all are having a nice weekend!

She is so well-kept, you've done a miracle. As Hilde just said, Golda's fur shows how well she is fed and how healthy she has become. Black cats are special in their character, I believe; they are very dominant indeed and even stubborn. They are very experimental, and some of their experiments go wrong. That's how my black cat used to be, too.

...she's so precious, and she looks just like my cat! He is still a playboy, even after all these years (10). I love him so much I squeeze him till he puts his paw gently on my face and pushes, to remind me he is not a pillow--he is a cat! Well, sometimes I call him my son. :-D
