This blog is about art and craft, and about sewing. There will be stories from traveling. I will tell a little bit about myself, and about my family. I will mention my wonderful friends. I shall introduce our beloved four legged companions. And I would like to talk about nature. And about sun and rain and flowers and trees, and the sea and the desert - about the beauty, the history, the ancient places and the views of the Land of Israel, and about its people.
If you want to know a little bit more about me, go down to the February 2010 posts.

Great backpack, Yael!
It is interesting to see all the variations you can achieve with the same cut and different use of fabric!
They are all lovely, my favourite is picture number 4...
These are all gorgeous! I love all the different fabric combinations. My favorite is the paisley and the last one ( butterfly). Your love of nature and different lands are so reflected in your creations.
OMG, Yael--they are BEAUTIFUL! I love them all, but my absolute favorite ones are the leopards and the paisley. Gorgeous!
אני נדהמת מהאופן שבו לקחת כל תיק למקום אחר לגמרי.
פשוט נהדר ויצירתי.
What a fantastic collection of backpacks Yael! I love that you're using the ancient Maltese goddess of fertility, aka The Fat Lady, in one of your photos! :)
Oh wow--Joanne, you're brilliant! I was looking for the fat lady...it's the sculpture, right?
This is such a flawless design for a backpack. So comfy, so perfect! Absolutely charming.
