A BEAUTIFUL BUILDING

This mosque at the Golan Heights was damaged during the 1967 war. We passed it many times on our excursions to the Golan and I always admired the still evident modest beauty of the building.  This Friday I asked my husband to stop, so we could have a closer look at it.
The walls inside are covered with Graffiti - some very gruel outbursts were written on them. But this one which my husband photographed secretly I noticed only at home when he showed me the picture. It says: Ani ohev otach Yaela - אני אוהב אותך יעלה - I love you Yaela!

Hast Du einen heimlichen Verehrer? ;-)

Nice graffiti message :)

Thank you for your comment, Yael :) The plant colours are wash and light fast. However, some of the colours might pale a little bit, as some plants are more suitable for dyeing than others.
I am in the process of knitting two handbags, they just need linings and handles. I'll post photos when they are finished.

Hope you have a great new week :)

How sweet! It warms the heart. Not long ago there was some construction work on one of our freeways. Lots of big machines and among them a sign ontop one of them said "I love you Theresa". I know my hubby didn't write it to me... it was there for some other T, but it still made me feel loved. <3 Terri

Your ancient land is so full of significance, Yael; I love that the graffiti you saw spoke of love, surely the one main hope left to mankind...
