As we do almost every year at this time in autumn, we went yesterday to look for these yellow and pink greeters of fall, the Sternbergia and the Crocus.

My husband took so many gorgeous photos, that I have a hard time deciding what to choose for this blog post.
The weather was wonderful yesterday, warm and sunny with blue sky, another happy day!

Uri's photos are such a pleasure to look at. I've never seen a crocus like the purple one with an amazing pattern and texture on it.

I had thought crocuses were early spring flowers, didn’t know autumn crocuses. It must have been joy to find purple or yellow fairies hiding behind the rocks. You look so relaxed, Yael, so does your dog. Only Uri was busy taking pictures?
