Yesterday we visited the pelicans at the water reservoir of Kibbutz Mishmar HaSharon - it was an incredible sight - thousands of them enjoyed the beautiful day, and we did too. They stop there on their migration to Africa, but many of them will stay for the winter here, and are fed by the Israels nature and park authorities.

Dear Yael – Thanks for sharing such fantastic nature shows! I’m happy for the pelicans that they can catch their breath before another long distance fly to Africa or settle there during the winter. The deep blue colors are so impressive, contrasting with white pelican colors. My best regards to Uri for such breathtaking photos. Wish the two of you happy days ahead.
