A WALK IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD

to admire the almond trees...

The almond tree is called "Shaked" in Hebrew all year round and it is very modest and unnoticeable, but in spring when it blooms so gloriously, and is not to be overlooked it is called "Shkedia"!

Liebe Jael,

Traumbilder, Yael!

Jutta

Beautiful photos Yael!! I've been visiting almond and apricot trees too, trying to capture their loveliness with my camera. They smell so good when you get right inside them!

Thank you for this post, Yael, as I haven’t seen Almond blossoms before. I wonder why almost all the fruit trees bloom such beautiful flowers. Cheers to all the glory and beauty of the Almond blossoms!

Beautiful! These almond trees must be like our southern azalea ... modest bushes that blossom gloriously every spring. It will be a couple more weeks until ours bloom.

PS Thanks for the lovely comments on my blog!
