TREASURES OF THE SEA

I think Sandy gathered up all the shells in her basket and took them home to her little Greek village, because when we went for a stroll at the beach near Haifa yesterday, there was only the soft carpet of sand, empty of treasures of all sorts, with some tiny exceptions. :-)

So this time I left bare handed, but the sea gave her other gifts - our lungs filled with the fresh salty air, our ears indulged in the sound of the rolling waves, our eyes took all that blue, white and beige beauty straight into our heart, and Dafi remembered the days of her youth when this was all a big playground for her and she would run to and fro hysterically from pleasure and jump in and out of the water. Getting older all things are changing to a slower pace, for humans and animals alike, which does not mean they are less enjoyable!

What a truly enjoyable post, Yael--I dearly miss the sea, a place of restoration, at every and any age.

And those bags you made--so charming and adorable!

my FAVORITE place on earth, the sea. I wish we could play there, YOU and ME! NOW, feel that water over your toes and all the woes GOES. ox

“Getting older all things are changing to a slower pace, for humans and animals alike, which does not mean they are less enjoyable!” So true! And with the slower pace, we could find something lost in a daily rush we used to be. I feel comfortable in this post with all my senses are opened up. Thank you, Yael.
