FELTED BUCKET BAG - Red and brown stripes

I am teaching myself to felt knitted and crocheted stuff - it is a great pleasure. This simple bag was crocheted, and then felted in the washing machine on a 40 degree cycle. The result is pretty! This time, using another type of wool, the color did not fade at all. The bag is lightweight but sturdy. It has a small pocket with rounded corners on the back side, and is not lined. The heart actually is not so bright red, but just right. It was made some years ago from poly clay by one of my granddaughters and I found it in the box while looking for a button, luckily, because it fits so nicely, it is glued on with a special type of glue. This morning I showed the bag to her mother - she loved it and she got it... :-)
