Not sure where this is but it is beautiful - your pictures always seem to reflect such peaceful images. I long to visit all these old places - and your blog is a good way to experience so many wonders.

Let's see, the roofs of the buildings are European, the trees are Cypress, it's sunny, the windows are arched, the glass panes are entirely devoid of images, it's on a hill, there is a six-point star in the windows, carved marble or stone, the image of a seashell, love of patterns, Arabic script?, love of detail, love of Moorish tiles...at least it reminds me of Alhambra, in Granada! Most important detail of all: a gorgeous and mysterious woman in black!

...so, the Star of David is a 6-point star...hmmm, don't tell us yet--I'm thinking...

Was Jill right? Oops...don't say :-)

The tiled wall has eight-point stars which are symbolic in Islam...I think I'm getting somewhere...

I don't think it was Petra--flat rooftops. I think it's the Alhambra, in Granada!
