This blog is about art and craft, and about sewing. There will be stories from traveling. I will tell a little bit about myself, and about my family. I will mention my wonderful friends. I shall introduce our beloved four legged companions. And I would like to talk about nature. And about sun and rain and flowers and trees, and the sea and the desert - about the beauty, the history, the ancient places and the views of the Land of Israel, and about its people.
If you want to know a little bit more about me, go down to the February 2010 posts.

I am speechless...beauty is not strong enough a word--Yael, you are a master of your craft, and turn this into an art piece!
love how you repimped the upholstery fabric into a beautiful trendy handbag ! This is a great 'upcycling' project !
Nobody would ever think this was selveged or sample material. The result is gorgeous! A highlight! Some fashion company should discover your work and employ you as a designer.
Ich bin sprachlos. Die Tasche ist einfach grandios.

Wunderschön.
Die Farben und das Muster wirken auf mich völlig beruhigend und entspannend.

This is nothing short of amazing, my jaw has literally dropped to the floor! The down-sloping angle on the profile of the bag is the exact, exact thing that the wavy fabric motif requires and the handle creates perfect balance. Major standing ovations, Yael. BRAVA!!!
Wow, what an amazing bag, Yael :) It's terrific, and I really like the wavy design.
Very elegant!
What an amazing bag! I hope you are enjoying using it.
