Branch turned into stick turned into art

I found this stick on our last outing to the Golan, at Mount Choset. Somebody had already stripped a branch off all the small twigs and leaves and turned it into a stick, probably for walking, and then just left it in the woods. I took it home and embellished it, totally exaggerating - but honestly, isn't it gorgeous? I had so much fun, that was play of many hours, and somehow very relaxing, almost meditative...  :-)

I can imagine how many hours you spent for the creation!

Your art is amazing. Native Americans in our area make beautiful walking sticks from branches too. But only you could come up with this master piece.

That is wonderful! Looks like a lot of work.
I am curious about the details, is it all fabric and been work? Is the embroidered cloth from old clothing that you have found, or did you do the needle work? Some of it looks painted, did you paint some? No matter what the details, it is fabulous!
