My husband called me: "Come, come out quick, bring the binoculars and the camera!"
"Look under the carob trees, the middle one of the group of three..."
This blog is about art and craft, and about sewing. There will be stories from traveling. I will tell a little bit about myself, and about my family. I will mention my wonderful friends. I shall introduce our beloved four legged companions. And I would like to talk about nature. And about sun and rain and flowers and trees, and the sea and the desert - about the beauty, the history, the ancient places and the views of the Land of Israel, and about its people.
If you want to know a little bit more about me, go down to the February 2010 posts.

Dear Yael - It must have been so exciting to see wild deer before your eyes even through binoculars. I wonder if they bow when they meet people like deer of Nara Park. You must have heard about Nara deer from your friends who travelled to Japan. Thank you for letting me know such nice impression about Japan.

Nice neighbours you have!
How enchanting, Yael. I love close encounters with nature--makes me feel happy just looking at yours!
You are so lucky, fancy getting a Deer from your balcony.
Wishing you a very healthy, happy new year!
You are lucky to have that modest friends, deer. As Yoko says, we have around one thousand of deer in the Nara Park. They are tamed and too much feed by visitors!
Have a good new week.
It was so nice to hear from you, Yael. You never fail to make me smile with your kind and encouraging words in your comments. Wish you and your family a happy, healthy, and prosperous year 2016.
