NEW FIBER VESSELS

The cord of the middle one was made on my sewing machine, the ropes of the first and third vessel I coiled by hand. All three vessels were then constructed on my Bernina.

This is work that gives me feedback full of joy, such fun to make these bowls. And while creating the ropes and coils I can play with colors and even textures.

The cord of the brown vessel consists of three strands of natural linen rope with a single turquoise metallic thread running with it.
The first and third vessel ropes were made with 1 inch wide fabric strips, which, as I said above, I coiled together by hand.
