Hello Yael,
I am wondering who this elegant woman is.
Also I wonder who that professional camera man is.
Is she your mother? She has a graceful smile and such beautiful skin and hair!

Happy day with smile.

Tomoko,
you are right, she is a very elegant and wonderful woman. This is my friend Ruth Dayan, 97 years old, the widow of late politician and defense minister Moshe Dayan. And at the picture on the wall is her son Assi Dayan, actor and director, who tragically died some days ago at age 68.

Thank you for your reply,Yael.
How sad that she lost her son. Assi Dayan was too young to go to the other world.
My deepest condolences for her son's death...from Japan.

I had the same question with Tomoko and now I understand. Sorry to hear about the loss of your loved friend. It must have been heartrending for her to have lost such a nice son. Being outlived by her husband and then her child, I hope she wouldn’t lose hope. I like her smile.

Hi, Yael! You did what I couldn’t. I searched any information about that noble white flower but without result except about the ones in Toshodaiji which I already know. Since I experienced three trees of keika blooming noble, bright and white under the blue sky, the landscape of the town of Yangzhou unfolded before my eyes while reading the description. It’d be like our cherry blossoms paint the whole country pale pink in early April. Thank you for the comment including such a nice information.
