Love the photos, Yael!! You made me want to give my apple trees a hug in spring :D

And thank you so much for the poem. So sweet of you! I enjoyed reading :)

Hope you have a nice weekend!
Hugs :)

Herrliche Fotos.
Ich liebe diese alten, knorrigen Bäume.
Sie könnten so viel erzählen. Sie sind ein Stück unseres Lebens.
Liebe Grüße
Irmi

That is SO true, Yael. Funny, just this past Friday (the same day you posted this), I brought my car in for repairs to my favorite garage where I trust and like the mechanics. I was joking with the owner that he didn't say hello to me when I came in, so not only did he say hello then, he even came over and he hugged me! It was the yummiest, squeeziest bear hug and it made me feel so, so good. Even now I am writing about it with a smile on my face. Hugs go a long way. I hope you get more hugs than you have time for in a day!

Tree hugging is in and the Internet is full of information on it - how to hug a tree and so on!
I did this already as a child - without the instructions how to do it! :-) :-) :-)
As a matter of fact it is really nice to hug a tree, not as nice as to hug friends, family and lovers, oh yes and sometimes even strangers - but still! Olive trees and oaks are the best - in my opinion of course! Try it, the tree hugs you right back!
