I still have so many of the new, cut off jeans legs, of which I told about here. So I decided to make some bags from them. This is the result so far.
The bags are lined with the same jeans fabric, they have inside and outside pockets, and they are so strong, they will last half a life time. :-)

Lovely denim bags, Yael! The third bag reminded me of a cloth bag made by my late mother which I used when I went to kndergarten. It had flowers appliqued on it .
I enjoyed reading your comments as always. In a temple of Nara City, there is a camphor tree which is believed to be older than 10000 year-old and it’s circumference is about 12.8 meters at its thickest part. I felt divine aura and thought “Totoro” must be living there. Do you know Totoro? He is a magical creature in Hayao Miyazaki’s film, he can be seen only by children and is a guardian of forest.

Wow, that is the best way to do with old jeans, thanks Yael.
I love the way old jeans take on a new identity--wonderful, Yael!
Liebe Yael,
toll sehen Deine Taschen wieder aus. Ich bewundere Deine Ideen und wie das umsetzt. Gefällt mir richtig gut.
Liebe Grüße
Jutta
Your bags are always so amazing. I love how you deconstructed your old jeans into such unique purses. I think you should definitely open an online store!
Haha, no old jeans used, only new ones, as I wrote in both posts. :-)
I don't make bags from old jeans.
