This is my brother's adaption of Edvard Munch's famous image. He made it for me out of clay and I think it is pretty cool!
I wanted to buy the original, but I was sadly some dollars short of the 120 million ones, and that Mr. Black billionaire guy just snapped it away before my eyes, bidding on the telephone higher and higher at Sotheby's, till I had to give up - you should have heard my scream!! :-)
But I am fine now, I have this little statue created with my brother's loving and talented hands and I am just very happy with it! :-) - It is 28 cm high
Thank you Matthias! HDL! :-)

I am sure that this little statue is worth more to you then the 120 million dollars ... It's one of a kind, handmade with love ! Cherish it.
ReplyDeleteI heard you scream Yael, even over here. A very nice statuette from your brother.
ReplyDeleteמדהים!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Who needs Sotheby's if there are such wonderful artists around.
ReplyDeleteI want to say that there are things going on in this piece that make it more genious than first glance. First, there is the overall impression--masterful. But there is also the patina. Yael, this is a gorgeous work of art! Is your brother showing in a gallery? I'd love to see more of his work. Hey, I'm just up the street, so to speak! Absolutely beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteCreativity runs in the family...:-)
An original! Lucky you.
ReplyDeleteIt is fabulous! What a creative family you are!
