This was always annoying, but now it is even more than before - you can just not read the words and have to try two or more times to get it right!

Just get rid of it!

Scroll down till you see "Show word verification for comments"

Click "NO"

  4. I don't think you have to do word-verification on my blog, but I am able to read the comments before publishing them. This lets me get rid of the spam, myself. It's not a problem.

  9. I was thinking about that too, Yael... Now they made it even more annoying and I'm afraid this will keep readers away from my blog.

BUT -- I had already taken the verification word away once before, and what happened was I suddenly had my blog full of hideous spam... :( and it's hard to go through all the previous comments in previous blogs. Any suggestions? :)

  10. I had thought about "comment moderation" (that's what Dawn has), but I don't know... some readers like to see their comment published right away, it's more immediate...
    I'm confused :(

Will try it again... hope not to be submerged by spam "comments", but you are right: it was WAY too annoying!!!

Now even Ryanair has this "Captcha word verification" on their website... can you imagine??? You want to check a flight and you get this annoying double unreadable word verification!!!! GRRRRRRR

  12. Sandra, that is interesting!
I never had a spam in three years of blogging! But I think a spam or two once a while is to get rid of quick and it is much less annoying than this word verification!

    Greetings to all!
